Hi! I’m Clo

I’m in my thirties, live in London in my flat. I have a mortgage, cats and a partner and spend a probably unnecessary amount of time finding ways to make my money go further.

I’ve explored all sorts over the years: cashback sites, discount codes, money apps, loyalty schemes, student discounts, mortgage overpayments and the slightly ridiculous combinations you can sometimes create when you stack a few of them together.

I’m also exactly the sort of person who remembers Quidco about thirty seconds after I’ve already paid.

Money With Clo is where I’m keeping track of the things that actually work.

Not theoretical ways I could save money. Things I’ve genuinely tried, paid for, tested or used myself.

What you’ll find here

Expect things like:

– money apps I’ve actually used
-cashback and discount stacking
-ways I’ve made everyday spending work a bit harder
-mortgage and home-money experiments
-honest reviews, including the annoying bits
-the occasional discovery that I have spent far too much time trying to save £7

I’m much more interested in getting more out of money I’m already spending than making life miserable in the name of saving.

So this isn’t going to be a website that tells you never to buy a coffee.

I buy quite a lot of coffee.

Money With Clo is based on my own experiences with products, apps and ways of saving money. Some posts contain referral or affiliate links. If I receive a reward or commission when someone uses one, I’ll say so clearly in the relevant article. This doesn’t affect what I choose to write about or what I say about it.
